How does Cleaner.Network verify cleaners and ensure trust?
+Cleaner.Network uses a multi-step vetting and verification process to make sure every cleaner listed on the platform is genuine, trustworthy, and legally able to work. Each cleaner earns badges as they complete different stages of verification, giving customers clear insight into who they’re booking.
🔒 Stripe Verified :
Every cleaner links their Cleaner.Network profile to Stripe, one of the world’s most secure payment providers. Stripe verifies each cleaner’s identity, bank details, and tax status before activating their account. This means all payments are encrypted, traceable, and transferred directly to the verified cleaner, with Cleaner.Network’s booking fee automatically deducted.
🪪 Identity Verified
Cleaners upload valid photo identification such as a passport or driving licence, which is securely checked to confirm their real name and identity.
📜 Right to Work Verified
Cleaners provide documentation confirming they have the legal right to work in Ireland or the UK (for example, an Irish/EU passport or residence permit). Depending on their visa type, they receive either a “Verified – Self-Employed” or “Limited – Employee Only” badge.
🧾 Reference Check
Each cleaner must supply two recent references, which are verified by Cleaner.Network before the cleaner receives their Reference Checked badge.
🛡️ Insurance Certificate
Cleaners who upload proof of current public liability or employer’s insurance receive the Insurance Verified badge, giving customers additional peace of mind.
👮 Background Check / Police Vetting
Where applicable, cleaners can submit police vetting or background check documents. Once verified, they earn the Background Checked badge.
Together, these badges form a transparent, easy-to-understand verification system that helps customers book with confidence, knowing their cleaner has been checked, verified, and securely connected to Cleaner.Network’s payment and compliance systems.
I'm a new registered cleaner, why am I not getting any jobs?
+
The two most important factors for customers choosing a cleaner are your profile photo and price per hour. Please make sure you upload a clear profile picture on a plain background. If you are finding that you are not getting any bookings, it could also be your price per hour. Try lowering it by a small amount until you start receiving a lot of jobs. Then gradually increase to your preferred rate. Customers also like to see excellent profile ratings, so make sure to ask the customer to provide a good recommendation or rating at the end of the job.

On the day make sure to have all cleaning products/vacuum cleaners ready as necessary. Cleaners do not bring their own equipment. Recommended things to do before the cleaner's arrival: Please remove all items (especially fragile and valuable ones) from the areas that are to be cleaned in order to eliminate the risk of any damage. Please move/remove any clothes/socks or personal belongings from the floors or any surfaces you would like the cleaners to clean, to ensure clear access to those areas. If any cupboards/drawers/cabinets need to be cleaned, please empty them of your belongings so that we can clean them properly. The cleaner can do that for you as well, but you will need to ask them to do so beforehand.
